The exhibition Detroit is Everywhere was a collaborative inquiry by Camilo José Vergara, Richard Plunz, Dan Hoffman, and Storefront for Art and Architecture. It consists of urban studies and proposals for the city of Detroit. As an example for North American city in transition, Detroit was once hailed as the model of urban productivity and later maligned as an example of inner-city decay. Over the decades, Detroit’s urbanism was a case study that other cities could measure themselves against. It also provides a test ground urban regeneration.
